Payroll Supervisor / Uckfield / Accountancy & Finance

Client Details

A well established pauroll bureau within a respected chartered accountants is looking to recruit a full time Payroll Supervisor on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

Description

As Payroll Supervisor you will be responsible for:

* Liaising with clients and entering payroll data from start to finish

* Reconciling payroll to client data, getting client approval as appropriate and issuing payroll reports & payslips

* Reviewing team member's work

* Preparing payroll journals

* Reconciling weekly and monthly PAYE figures

* Preparing BACS files

* Administering Pension Auto-enrolment

* Producing and distributing pension scheme returns, including notification of changes in members' status and uploading to pension provider

* Dealing effectively with queries from clients, and HMRC and other parts if the business

* Assisting with onboarding new clients.

* Share knowledge internally and externally.

Profile

* Payroll bureau experience

* Able to calculate tax, NI, pensions, etc. manually

* Good working knowledge of statutory family leave, SSP, salary sacrifice, pensions,etc.

* Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills

Job Offer

£40-44,000

Hybrid working (2 days per week WFH) once processes are established
