My client has identified the need for a Payroll Supervisor to join the payroll team on a 12 month fixed term basis. To be in the office on a very flexible basis. We therefore seek an experienced and responsible individual, with enthusiasm and ability to take on new challenges and help support the payroll function.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Reconciling payroll to client data
  • Supporting team member
  • Preparing payroll journals
  • Reconciliations
  • Preparing BACS files
  • Administering Pension Auto-enrolment
  • Producing and distributing pension scheme returns
  • Dealing effectively with queries from clients
  • Assisting with onboarding new clients.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Must of supervised previously
  • Client payroll experience
  • Able to calculate tax, NI, pensions, etc. manually
  • Good working knowledge of statutory payments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • MS office (intermediate Excel)
