Based: Uckfield, East Sussex

Hours: Monday - Friday | Office Based | Full Time hours 9-5pm

Location must be within a reasonable commute of Uckfield based office.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop new functionality within our suite of Magento modules, utilising your expertise in Magento 2, PHP, and Javascript coding.
  • Assist in the deployment of Magento installations onto dedicated servers.
  • Optimise configuration of Magento 2 and install/configure a variety of plugins to meet client requirements.
  • Provide support and enhancements to the front-end design team, ensuring the site and platform remain fast, consistent, and user-friendly.

Example Tasks:

  • Develop a module to control custom options at the basket page, based on JSON elements in product attributes.
  • Create a module to inject a delivery date selector into the checkout process.

What You'll Bring:

  • Self-motivation and the ability to work well both independently and within a small team.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP programming language.
  • Expertise in Magento 2 framework and architecture.
  • Experience managing interconnected databases, especially MySQL.
  • Proficiency in creating, customising, and integrating Magento 2 modules and extensions.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Skills in optimising performance and ensuring robust security measures.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for frontend development.
  • Familiarity with frontend frameworks and libraries.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design and collaboration with designers.
  • Experience in optimising frontend performance and adherence to accessibility and SEO best practises.
