Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Materials Planner for our client based in South Lanarkshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused individual to develop their career within the within a niche sector, with opportunities for further training and career progression.

Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing material requirements, ensuring accurate stockholding, and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain efficient supply chain operations. This position offers the chance to expand technical expertise within a highly professional and regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with the Workshop Manager and Supervisors to determine material requirements
  • Using company MS Database to establish Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
  • Maintaining accurate stock records and resolving any discrepancies
  • Coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Managing safety stock levels and ensuring efficient material availability

Skills & Experience

  • Experience within Planning Administrative position 
  • Ability to manipulate data in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic about career development within a professional environment
