Our client, based in Uddingston, has a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join their small and supportive team as a Trainee Finance/Admin Assistant. This permanent full-time role offers a salary of 22K-25K, depending on experience, and has a working pattern of Monday to Friday (phone number removed).


As a Trainee Finance/Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing business support to the team and have the opportunity to learn and develop within a supportive environment. Key Duties:


* Acting as the point of contact for customer enquiries and ensuring excellent customer service
* Keeping customers updated on the progress of their orders
* Accurately inputting order details into the system
* Assisting with the finance functions of the business, including purchase ledger and sales ledger (training will be provided)
* Raising sales invoices and inputting data into Sage 50 (training will be provided)
* Providing support to the wider team

Key Skills/Attributes:


* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office package (desirable)
* Ability to approach challenges with a non-defeatist and optimistic mindset
* Eagerness to learn and demonstrate an inquisitive mind
