Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment with a focus on behaviour for learning.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development, including mentoring, training, and reflection on your practice.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in your department and across the school to share ideas, resources, and best practices.
  • Parent/Carer Engagement: Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support students’ academic and personal development.
  • School Community: Contribute to extracurricular activities, school events, and the overall ethos of the school.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Essential:
    • Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
    • A genuine passion for your subject area and a commitment to inspiring students.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
    • A strong commitment to inclusive education and equal opportunities.
    • Desire to continually improve and develop as a teacher.
  • Desirable:
