We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant educational community in Shrewsbury. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students, working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Assist with the implementation of individualized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
- Support students in their academic and personal development, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Help to maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment, ensuring the well-being of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements for this role include:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School is preferable.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
