Project Manager – Airports & Infrastructure (USA)

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction and infrastructure projects? Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in leading high-profile airport and infrastructure developments? If so, this opportunity is for you!

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of large-scale airport and infrastructure projects in the USA. Reporting to the Commercial Operations Director, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless project execution from contract award to completion, while leading multidisciplinary teams and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and budget targets are met.
  • Programme Management: Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project, monitoring progress and mitigating delays.
  • Contract & Commercial Oversight: Interpret and manage contracts, cost control, risk management, and claims preparation.
  • Procurement & Supply Chain: Manage relationships with key suppliers, oversee material orders, and align procurement with project timelines.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Lead and enforce all HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for the Main Contractor and Client, ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Quantity Surveying: Oversee cost estimations, budget management, valuations, and financial reporting to maintain project profitability.
About You:
  • Experience: Proven background in construction and infrastructure project management, ideally in an airport or large-scale civil engineering environment.
  • Qualifications: Minimum NVQ Level 6 (or equivalent) in Construction.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of industry processes, quality assurance, procurement, and commercial controls.
  • Leadership: Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
