2nd Line Support engineer required by my leading technical provider.

My client is seeking a bright, proactive and technically focussed individual looking to developer their career and technical skillset.

We’re looking for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Technician to join our client based in Reading. This is an onsite role where you will be the first point of contact for IT issues, providing high-quality support and troubleshooting for end-users across a range of technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support via phone, email, and in-person
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Escalate complex problems to 3rd line support when necessary
Set up and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory/Microsoft 365
Document and track support tickets using a ticketing system
We’re Looking For

Experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the want to build on your fundamental techncial skills
You MUST have Strong communication and customer service abilities coupled with the want and motivation to build your career and technical knowledge.
On site role ! / Must be eligible to work in UK / Must have excellent communication skills.
