The Company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a major player in the engineering technology sector, particularly within the booming world of Industry 4.0. Our client is a market leader in intralogistics and material handling systems, working with well-known blue-chip clients across Europe. With roots dating back to the early 1900s and a current annual turnover exceeding €600 million, they are continuing to expand due to rising demand for automated solutions.
We’re now looking for a Residential Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at one of their key customer locations.
The Role
As a Residential Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for the upkeep and reliability of cutting-edge automated equipment including:
- Conveyors
- High bay cranes
- Packaging and wrapping systems
- Sortation lines
- PLC-driven machinery
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
- Performing fault-finding and diagnostics
- Conducting root cause analysis and supporting continuous improvement efforts
About You
We’re looking for an engineer with a strong proactive mindset and a passion for automation. While experience in an automated or factory environment is ideal, we’re open to candidates from a variety of engineering backgrounds.
You’ll ideally have:
- A multiskilled background with a mechanical or electrical bias
- Strong fault-finding ability on automated systems
- A team-focused attitude and great communication skills
- An eagerness to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment
