You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit team that values growth and will provide you with hands-on training, study support, and the chance to develop skills in report writing and other administrative tasks. As you progress, this role offers a pathway to advance into paraplanning, setting you up for a rewarding career in financial services.

They are open to having conversations with experienced Paraplanners, IFA Administrators or Administrators looking to take that first step into Financial services. Salary up to £32k dependent on experience.

The Business

The business is a well-established independent advisory business is based in the south of Cumbria. The directors have over 40 years’ experience in financial services and take pride in continuing to deliver an exceptional client journey.

The Role

The duties of this role will be varied with you having a responsibility to support the existing Advisors and Paraplanners. Dependent on your level of experience, the company will tailor the role to you, allowing you to master what you already know, along with developing and learning more going forward, with potential to be a Paraplanner in the future.

For those experienced Paraplanners, you will be focussed on writing suitability reports, discussing the Financial Plan with the Advisors and Research staff.

For administrators with Financial services experience, you will be processing new business, sending letters of authority, speaking to clients and providers, actioning fund switches, withdrawals as well as updating the in-house systems. You will also be trained in report writing with a view to support the Paraplanners when ready.

For those Administrators without Financial services experience, you will be learning and supporting the administrators in the close knit team in to develop into the role.
