This role will see the successful candidate join the Test and Inspection department, assessing a range of high voltage instruments such as relays. This role is highly varied, covering electrical, mechanical and function testing.

The Role:
- Function testing of relays / instruments using secondary injection test sets, voltage sources and measuring instruments
- Checking and testing functionality of circuits using diagrams
- Complete goods receipt inspection including from paint to works instructions
- Complete mechanical inspections such as tightness of fixings around relays
- High voltage insulation tests on pilot wire protection circuits up to 15kV
- High voltage insultation tests on busing type insulators and outdoor circuit breakers using 100kV insulation testers
The Person:
- Proven experience testing high voltage relays
- IEC 61850 Experience is desirable
