Production Team Member

Our client, the UK's largest home fragrance manufacturer based in Lindal, Ulverston, is seeking Production Team Members for temporary ongoing positions, with the potential to become permanent.

This role offers opportunities for skill development, career progression, and increased pay based on performance.

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour for day shifts, with potential changes depending on performance and shift patterns.

Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm to start, with flexibility required for possible night shifts (4:30pm - 3:00am) as you advance.

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

  • Ensure correct raw materials are used in production.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate machines to produce quality products.
  • Perform routine start-up and shutdown checks.

Packing:

  • Prepare materials, label, and pack products efficiently and accurately.

General:

  • Minimize downtime and resolve production issues, reporting to the team leader as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork on time.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Adhere to company values, policies, and objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

This role involves manual labour, including lifting and standing throughout the shift. A strong work ethic and flexibility are essential.
