My client is an exciting high growth Technology business within the e-commerce software sector, with a focus on proving a POS system to independent retailers within the Cycle, Equestrian, Lifestyle, fashion and Outdoor sectors.
Alongside the software products, my client also offers Digital Marketing Services such as managed Google Shopping Campaigns, Email Newsletters, Email Automations and On-going Design Services delivered by their very own design team based in the Manchester Offices.
Due to on-going growth, our client are now seeking a Junior Software Tester to join a dynamic QA team. Previous testing experience is not essential, as they are keen to hire individuals from any background who can demonstrate the necessary skills and the ability to learn quickly. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual and exploratory testing to ensure software quality.
- Assist the QA team in performing regression testing on new releases to identify any issues or defects.
- Help the team manage and clear the testing backlog to maintain a smooth development pipeline.
- Work closely with the development team to contribute to an agile software development process.
- Accurately document problem reports, including issue descriptions, correct functionality, and steps to reproduce.
- Learn and contribute to the execution of automated tests with a view to eventually writing new automated test scripts.
- Take ownership of your personal and professional growth, developing your programming and software testing skills.
