Reed Education provides Whole School Recruitment to Secondary Schools across Cumbria & Lancashire. As a result, Reed Education are seeking a dynamic Full TimeĀ Science Teacher?starting immediately on a long-term basis at a school in Cumbria. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of curriculum, effective communication skills, and dedication to creating an engaging learning environment. The role is three days per week.

The successful applicant must:ā€¢ Must have QTS or equivalentā€¢ Must have recent relevant experience of teaching Science with Biology knowledge at KS3 and KS4, in any would be an advantageā€¢ Be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and classroom management skillsā€¢ Be reliable, committed and interested in working with students and demonstrate the qualities of a good role model (qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness and good listening skills)ā€¢ Have good interpersonal skills; be trustworthy, punctual as well as being patient and confident when working with children.
