Responsibilities

  • Lead curriculum development in the Faculty
  • Enhance our school's learning community by contributing to a positive and effective teaching and learning program
  • Champion the Academy's ethos and standards as a valued member of our leadership team
  • Maintain a positive learning environment within the Faculty by upholding high standards of behavior
  • Ensure that students have access to a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities and activities such as trips, clubs etc

Requirements

  • Must Hold QTS/QTLS
  • Have a proven track record of successfully teaching Maths to KS3/KS4 students
  • Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • The ability to lead curriculum development and innovation
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
  • Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
