Chef De Partie

Pay Up to £32,000

Goldmills Recruitment are seeking a permanent full time Chef De Partie to work at a traditional and modern ItalianRestaurant. Apart from amazing food, we have an excellent wine list too. The Owner says consistent customer satisfaction is my top priority both in terms of the food we serve, and the level of service we provide. My team and I are committed to ensuring that we make our diners feel special and that they have a fantastic time while theyre with us.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef De Partie. As a vital member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for running your section and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences. This role is perfect for a motivated chef looking to enhance their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen.

About the Role

You will be required to work 5/7 days per week including evenings and weekends. Some shifts may be double shifts and up to 40 hours per week.

There is room for progression and pay rises in the future.

Monthly pay

Overtime is optional

Key Responsibilities

  • Section Management: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards within your designated section.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistency in quality.
  • Mise en Place: Ensure your section is fully prepared before service, with all ingredients prepped and organized.
  • Menu Development: Contribute ideas to the menu, bringing creativity and innovation to your dishes.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Training: Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, minimizing waste, and ensuring efficient use of ingredients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Chef de Partie role or a similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
  • A passion for food and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Formal culinary training or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
