An Outstanding secondary school in Upminster is seeking a creative and dynamic Art Teacher to join their talented team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of artists in a supportive and thriving environment. Starting in April 2025, this full-time role is ideal for both experienced teachers and those beginning their teaching careers, with excellent support available for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Foster creativity and encourage students to explore their artistic potential in a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the Art department to develop and implement an inspiring curriculum.
- Support students in building confidence and technical skills in various artistic disciplines.
- Uphold the high standards of our Outstanding school in Upminster.
Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or has a subject-related degree with proven teaching experience.
- Passionate about art education, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Open to supporting ECTs with the guidance of our incredible Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
- A dedicated Art Teacher committed to contributing to the success of our students and school community in Upminster.
