Our engineering client, owing to business expansion, has a requirement for a Mechanical Assemblerto work in their factory in Upper Beeding, West Sussex.
TheSuccessful candidate will assemble smaller sub-assemblies, which are then assembled onto a larger machine; if required, modify and then tested as per customer requirements.
Detailed Description
- Under supervision, build and integrate mechanical components in bespoke automated machines.
- Responsible for picking parts for sub assembly.
- Ensure work is completed to agreed schedules.
- Once machinery is completed, potentially assist with installation support if required.
- Responsible for completing safety and quality checks and associated documentation.
- Responsible for quality of work, attention to detail and communicating any issues promptly.
Basic Requirements
- Mechanical Assembly Experience
- Ideally, general electrical wiring experience, although not essential.
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Basic and safe use of hand tools
- Good communication skills
Working days/hours
Mon-Thur, 08:00 to 16:30 and Fri, 08:00 to 13:30. 30 mins for lunch.
