Workshop Coordinator

Temp ongoing (opportunity to go perm)

Monday to Friday (40hrs) 8am - 4.30pm

£12.51 per hour (£26,020)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our automotive client based in Bruntingthorpe. Due to the location, you will need to have your own transport.

You will be alongside the mechanical workshop and be responsible for providing daily updates to the customer service team on vehicles progress, whilst working closely with the workshop.

You will also be assisting the workshop controller, with coordinating the daily workshop schedule and associated activities and send updates on all jobs to the teams concerned.

Strong administration skills and experience is essential and the ability to manage your own workload.

Key responsibilities of a Workshop Coordinator:

  • Scheduling work to meet customer needs
  • Working from spreadsheets supplied by the workshop controller/technical manager for priority vehicles
  • Moving vehicles inside and around workshops
  • General housekeeping
  • Attend site breakdowns/recoveries and other issues

Key skills for a Workshop Coordinator:

  • Previous Dealership experience
  • Mechanical background would be an advantage
  • Workshop controller experience preferable
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management with he ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent I.T skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Must hold a full UK driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months
