Site Manager – Waste Management 

Leicester area
Salary: £45k-£48k plus bonus and benefits

Our client is looking for someone like you to take on the challenge of managing transfer station activities with an eye on continual improvement. If you are ready to contribute to a dynamic team that values efficiency, compliance, and the pursuit of excellence, this is your opportunity!

Role:
•    Ensure operations are conducted in line with ISO 9001, 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certification standards, along with BMS & IMS systems.
•    Collaborate with senior management to deliver effective results on-site, ensuring that national strategies and objectives are met.
•    Lead the delivery of the operations strategy to maintain the highest standards of efficiency and quality across all activities at the site.
•    Support financial and operational performance through accurate forecasting, budget monitoring, and process improvement.
•    Manage operational reports and maintain precise, effective record-keeping.

Ideal Candidate
•    Relevant qualifications (WAMITAB COTC, HNC in chemistry, ADR, IOSH, NEBOSH, DGSA). would be an advantage
•    Experience in plant and/or process operations supervision/management.
•    Proficiency in SAP and IT skills across all MS Office applications.
•    Proven ability to identify process improvements and optimise efficiencies.
•    Strong business acumen and the ability to assess operational impacts.
•    Analytical mindset to understand data and deliver on key performance indicators.
