We're on the lookout for a resourceful and hands-on Field Service Engineer to join a well-established international manufacturer. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical abilities who's excited by global travel, thrives on variety, and is open to a long-term relocation opportunity in Australia.

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll take a leading part in delivering expert-level technical support and service across a wide range of advanced capital equipment systems. You'll be involved in everything from setup and commissioning to troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance across a global customer base.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Installing and setting up complex machinery and systems at client sites around the world

  • Conducting routine servicing, fault-finding, and system diagnostics

  • Delivering on-site customer support and operator training

  • Tackling mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues with confidence

  • Maintaining detailed service reports and documentation

  • Working closely with engineering teams to provide product feedback and insights

  • Representing the company with professionalism and a customer-first mindset

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A solid technical background-electromechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems

  • Previous field service experience with capital equipment or similar technologies

  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

  • Flexibility to travel extensively, including short-notice trips

  • A self-starting attitude and the ability to work autonomously

  • Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach
