The UK Financial Controller leads the UK Management Accounts team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and control while supporting senior leadership to drive financial performance.
Principal Accountabilities
- Accounting & Financial Control: Oversee monthly accounts and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Support statutory accounts, audits, and regulatory submissions (e.g. VAT, IATA, ATOL).
- Systems & Process Improvement: Drive automation and ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.
- Business Partnering: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, collaborating with department heads to control costs and improve profitability.
