Salary: Exp: Up to £44,000 + Bonus + Progression Opportunities
We are very open to someone who is coming from a fitter/engineer/team lead/assembly technician type of position looking to progress into a production supervisor role.
We are looking for a “hands on” production supervisor with knowledge of pumps, valves and seals assembly.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturing and production processes.
- Manage stock control procedures.
- Develop and execute production schedules.
- Collaborate with the Admin team on parts deliveries and product requirements.
- Ensure compliance with factory procedures.
- Communicate production challenges to senior management.
- Monitor productivity, standards, and quality control.
- Train and coach factory staff.
- Enforce health and safety protocols.
- Uphold company values.
Requirements:
- Time served fitter/mechanical engineer/assembly technician/
- Experience leading small teams (4+ individuals).
- Strong leadership skills in daily production/assembly processes of pumps and filters.
- Excellent communication abilities to mentor and develop team members.
- Drive efficiencies while maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Track record of implementing change initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Control practices.
