Smart Manufacturing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for one of our clients based in Ushaw Moore - Durham.

Responsibilities:

To perform the inspection of in-house manufactured parts and finished products
To document inspection results by completing the relevant reports
To raise non-conformance reports promptly and efficiently, segregating non-conforming product
To perform inspection of components and materials at Goods-In to defined quality standards
To interpret engineering drawings
To ensure quality systems are being adhered to and are operating effectively

Requirements:

Have experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment in an inspection or quality role
Be able to interpret engineering drawings
Have experience in using a large variety of measurement equipment including CMM
Able to use Excel, Word and other common applications

Shift times:

Day shift : 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday

Back Shift : 4:30pm - 12am Monday to Friday

Pay Rate :15 - 18 per hour ( depending on experience)
