Secondary School Teacher Jobs in Monmouthshire.Due to an increase in demand, a number of schools in Caerphilly are requiring passionate teachers seeking Day-to-Day and long-term supply vacancies. Specialist teachers in core subjects and those willing to do general cover as well.

Your new role You will have the opportunity to work in a job that is flexible around your needs. Working for Hays Education will enable you to work on a full time or part time basis to suit your commitments. Your role and responsibilities as a cover teacher will also include:

  • Effectively communicate the work set by the absent teacher to students
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are undertaking set work
  • Responding to any questions from pupils
  • Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies which may arise



What you'll need to succeed To be considered for the role of Hays Education it is essential you have:

  • Hold a teaching qualification.
  • The ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour.
  • The ability to build good relationships.
  • Experience of 40+ days in a school we can reference within the past 5 years
