HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY

WORKING A SHIFT BETWEEN THE HOURS OF

£16.25 - £20.31 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Driver for our client based in Rocester.

Day to Day Duties

• Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to make at least two trunk runs a day
• Curtain sider work
• Make on time deliveries
• Communicate with the transport team
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Comply with driving rules and regulations
• Strapping loads correctly (awkward loads)

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience in strapping abnormal loads would be beneficial as well as navigating tight delivery depots

Training

• You will be required to pass a driving assessment before attending a three-day company program
