If you're an engineer with 5+ years’ experience servicing diesel generators and ready for a role that combines workshop expertise with field support, this position could be the perfect fit for you.

Our client is seeking a skilled PDI Engineer to join their team.

What you'll get:

  • £35,000 - £37,440 per annum (£16.82 - £18.00 per hour)
  • Additional £200 per week when on call (1 in 5 rotation)

What you'll be doing:

  • Taking sole responsibility for PDI work on power products/generators
  • Fitting attachments/extras to generators as per sales requests
  • Providing technical support both in the workshop and in the field
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical problems
  • Completing servicing and maintenance of various power products
  • Working independently to troubleshoot and solve problems

What you'll need:

  • 5+ years of experience servicing diesel generators.
  • Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work independently
