We are hiring! An exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven individual to join our highly successful organisation as the Head of Sales of the Aggregates Division within our business.

This challenging and rewarding role will see the successful candidate become responsible for the overall performance and operations of the Aggregates Division.  As such the Head of Sales' primary focus will be on the development and management of the performance of  the sales team, ensuring that suitable targets are set, understood & achieved, leads are appropriately actioned, and follow up activity completed.  In addition, developing, building, and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers, suppliers and subcontractors.

You will be responsible for all elements of the Division's operations including;

  • recruitment, management, and ongoing development of the Sales Team, Transport Planning & Operational Staff,
  • ensuring all activities are undertaken in line with company requirements and to acceptable quality standards,
  • ensuring company resources are efficiently managed and utilisation and revenues maximised,
  • ensuring administration processes and established procedures are followed allowing timely sales and purchasing management, and
  • working closely with the Administration team to resolve queries, problems and to provide assistance with financial matters where necessary. 

Working within AFS' Senior Management team, you will contribute to the overall success of the business in many ways, in addition to the primary focus of the role: assisting with the ongoing development of company systems, processes & procedures, identifying and following up opportunities for inter-divisional collaboration and monitoring and managing your division's contribution to the growth trajectory of the business.
