The UK's leading manufacturer of construction and agricultural machinery, JCB, is looking for a Materials Planner to join its Heavy Products Site in Uttoxeter.
Pay rate - starting at 拢18.46ph based on a 39-hour working week (Monday to Friday), an ASAP start is desirable.
Key responsibility in this role is to ensure continuity in supply of parts to assembly and manufacturing operations.
Duties involve, but not limited to:
路Material requirements planning and expedite from an international supply base, in line with system requirements.
路Lean inventory management.
路Pro-active reviews and continuous improvements of suppliers/ logistics/ transportation and packaging.
路Maintenance of performance in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
路Problem solving / process improvement initiatives.
Desired Experience Requirements:
路Ability to demonstrate materials planning experience.
路Working knowledge of MRP planning systems.
路Excellent communication skills.
路SAP MRP base experience is advantageous but not essential.
路Highly PC literate; particularly on Microsoft Excel.
