A mechanic position is available in Stoke-on-Trent, starting at £16.00 per hour with a permanent role after 12 weeks.
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience and a valid Class B driving license, with C+E being advantageous.
Key responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, and repairing a mixed fleet, conducting vehicle inspections, and handling VOSA/DVLA paperwork.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 17:00 and Friday from 07:30 to 12:30, with overtime paid at varying rates.

Service, Maintenance and Repair of a mixed fleet
Vehicle inspections
MOT prep/ presentation
VOSA / DVLA paperwork, including job cards and service sheets using online R2C systems
Diagnosis and rectification
Safely and comply with H&S legislation and company procedures at all times
Good mechanical understanding

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Valid Class B, B1 Driving licence required - C+E would also be advantageous
Good communication skills
Functional IT knowledge beneficial
Minimum 2 years relevant experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Awareness of Health and Safety as it relates to our industry
