About the Role
As a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance for this impressive site, ensuring the production is ongoing and machinery is running to company standards. Responsibility will fall onto you for planned and reactive maintenance of the site machinery. This will be for both mechanical and electrical maintenance across the site. You will be a part of the growth that is occurring within the engineering department and lead the way in company development.
Key Responsibilities
- To keep maintenance on site production machinery and monitoring equipment for breakdowns or areas of improvement
- Perform planned or reactive maintenance on the manufacturing shop floor. To keep daily maintenance on machinery and ensuring production is at expected capacity
- Performing electrical maintenance on ovens, gas ovens, production line, mixers, moulders, and other areas to meet the needs of the business
About You
The ideal candidate will be a Maintenance Technician/Engineer coming from a manufacturing background with an electrical bias to fit the need of the multiple opportunities available. Key Skills/Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Technician or similar position
- Experience within manufacturing environment and performed planned or reactive maintenance
- Certificate NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering, manufacturing, electrical field and/or is electrical bias
