This opportunity is to work within a prison setting, focusing purely on assessing the mental health needs of individuals at the point of custody. This role does not involve managing caseloads or delivering therapeutic interventions but is essential in identifying mental health concerns among new prisoners.Key Responsibilities:Conduct mental health assessments for all individuals entering custody.Identify and manage any immediate mental health risks.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals where needed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of prisoners.Ensure all assessments are completed in line with prison protocols and procedures.Essential Requirements:Prison clearance (mandatory).Exceptional assessment and risk management skills.The ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgements in a fast-paced environment.What we offer
