We are currently seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Uttoxeter. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate young learners in a supportive and dynamic environment.

We are looking for a motivated Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality education to students across Key Stages 1 and 2. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students, while also contributing to the wider school community. This role could be made permanent depending on the person.

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the abilities and interests of all students in your class.
• Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s curriculum and participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
• Engage with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support student success and wellbeing.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Experience: At least 1 year of teaching experience in a primary school, with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula.
• Qualifications: A relevant degree in Education or a related subject, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Training: Experience in classroom management and differentiated instruction. Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

To be considered for the higher end of the salary bracket, candidates should demonstrate:

• Advanced Teaching Experience: Extensive experience in teaching across Key Stage 1 and/or 2, with a proven track record of student success.
• Leadership or Coordinator Roles: Experience as a subject lead, department coordinator, or involvement in extracurricular activities related to primary education.
• Professional Development: Continued professional development (CPD) in primary education, including advanced training or certifications that enhance teaching practice.

This role is based in Uttoxeterpton, within a well-established primary school. The school is easily accessible by public transport and offers a supportive working environment.
