About the Role
As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for an integral production line for the business to ensure it operates to company standard in safety and technical practice. You will manage the production line team and communicate effectively for full clarity on delivering daily tasks, while providing technical support on the proper use of shop floor equipment. Leading the way in the standards for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping to company standards in documentation, safety audits, and enforcing safety standards
- Daily decision making in a fast-paced environment and ongoing problem solving
- Use your technical knowledge of the line machinery to ensure ongoing production
- Managerial meetings and stakeholder management to drive the best image of the company
About You
The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing background and looking to further their career in a food manufacturing facility. If you are a good communicator and enjoy speaking to people, this role is perfect for you.
Key Skills/Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with your team and wider stakeholders
- Ability to react in a fast-paced manner for time-critical decision making
- Technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and the right process for each
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience is a strong desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of IOSH standards, food safety standards, or equivalent are strong benefits to have but not essential
