A Top 15 UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Semi-Senior to join its dynamic London-based team. This role offers meaningful responsibilities, structured progression, and exposure to a diverse client base — all within a supportive and approachable environment.

The Audit Semi-Senior will collaborate with experienced managers and partners on audits across multiple sectors, contributing to high-quality engagements and building trusted client relationships with a variety of organisations, including owner-managed businesses, schools, and charities.

�? Client Portfolio & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will gain broad experience working with an eclectic mix of clients — from companies and legal firms to educational institutions and non-profits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in on-site audits and supporting high-standard audit delivery

  • Preparing accounts in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards

  • Drafting basic corporation tax computations

  • Attending client meetings and fostering strong professional relationships

  • Managing personal workloads and meeting deadlines with access to ongoing support

  • Contributing to internal improvements and firm-wide initiatives

?? Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be studying towards the ACA qualification (having completed all certificate-level papers), or be qualified to AAT Level 4

  • Possess at least 2 year of audit experience (additional experience in accounts or tax is advantageous)

  • Be comfortable using tools such as Pro-audit, CCH Accounts Production, Xero, QuickBooks, Alphatax, and Office 365

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

  • Exhibit a client-focused approach, strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
