A leading hospitality business in restaurants and music, is seeking a Financial Accountant.

Role and responsibilities:

Work closely with the commercial property team and take ownership for the accounting of lease transactions
Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including preparing accounting entries & reconciliations
Investigate and provide commentary for the management team
Provide technical accounting support to the Assistant Reporting Accountant for Music
Supervise accounting entries
Supporting the preparation of month end reviews
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Post period end journals for base rent, turnover rent and rent reviews etc.
Point of contact for ad-hoc queries
Assist with cashflow forecasting
Assist with the preparation of budgets

This is an exciting role for a finalist or newly qualified professional who has experience with preparing accounting entries, reconciliation and commentary. The ideal candidate will have experience of Lease Accounting IFRS 16 / IAS 17, be eager to develop their career and possess excellent communication skills.
