Our client, a prominent top 50 UK accountancy firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Director to join their thriving West London office. Position OverviewAs the Tax Director, you will be responsible for managing a dedicated team of tax professionals in delivering a comprehensive range of personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory services. Reporting directly to the firm's Head of Tax and the Managing Partner of the West London office, you will work closely with clients, managing their expectations and providing high-quality, tailored solutions to meet their unique needs.
Responsibilities-
Liaise with clients and manage their expectations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service

Collaborate with general partners on complex and interesting mixed tax advisory issues

Delegate and train team members in the preparation of transaction documents related to company reorganisations, share schemes, property transfers, trusts, corporate sales and acquisitions, and demergers

Draft technical responses to HMRC enquiries

Manage the team, conducting interviews and appraisals

Work with other partners to identify and drive special projects within the portfolio

Assist in attracting new clients to the business

CTA qualified with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience

Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation

Proven advisory skills and a strong desire to deliver exceptional client service

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in IT tools, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and accounting packages

Experienced in managing risk in compliance work
