Seeking a confident & professional Customer Service Specialist to join my client's team close to Heathrow Airport.

You will be the primary point of contact for their aviation MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) customers.
You'll play a key role in fostering & solidifying customer relationships, resolving issues, and driving improvements to meet market demands and customer expectations.

Role: Customer Service Specialist- Permanent Position
Location: West London
Pay: From 30,000 per annum
Hours: 38 Hours per week, Mon-Fri. Overtime may be required.

Job Profile:

Customer Engagement & Communication:
o Build and maintain strong customer relationships, organising regular meetings and visits.
o Serve as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and inquiries.
o Provide regular updates on the status of MRO events, including reports and delivery schedules.
o Share quotes, assist with invoicing preparation, and communicate any delays proactively.

MRO Event Coordination:
o Manage all aspects of MRO event preparation and coordination to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
o Work closely with the MRO Event Manager to monitor progress and address delays.
o Prepare and manage shipping documentation in collaboration with Trade Compliance.

Quality & Complaints Management:
o Handle customer complaints, warranty claims, and quality investigations to maintain high satisfaction levels.
o Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in documentation and manage customer enquiries effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration:
o Analyse frequently raised issues and lead initiatives to improve processes and service delivery.
o Work collaboratively with internal teams (Production, Engineering, Logistics, Finance) to meet operational goals and deliver exceptional service.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience in customer service within an aviation business, engineering/production business or similar commercial company.
* An understanding of Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes would be very beneficial.
* A customer-centric mindset.
* Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven.
* Comfortable representing the company professionally in customer interactions.
* Adaptable and able to perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
