We are seeking a Quality Engineer with Mechanical Engineering experience on a contract basis to join a company that supplies a range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Medical and Life Sciences.

As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure the businesses operational compliance is in line with the companies procedures, specifications and certification requirements.

You will be supporting the implementation of root cause and corrective actions within the business.


Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day support of Operational Quality issues
  • Creating Daily Reports
  • Support, guide the implementation of root cause and corrective actions within all areas of the business
  • Mange the sites NCR process
  • Adhere to the internal procedures and quality plans
  • Take a proactive approach to quality control function leading to quality assurance
  • Responsible for documenting all operational & project concerns, issuing and managing the non-conformances for satisfactory response and closure
  • Supporting and participating in continuous improvement events within the business management system
  • Give guidance to the Operational and other quality staff on aspects relating to quality
  • Identify gaps relating to processes and implement procedural changes to reflect current practices which comply with internal, customer or certification requirement

Quality Engineer Background:

* Have extensive experience working within manufacturing environments
* High school education or above qualification - preferably related to industry
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint Knowledge
* Good problem-solving skills and an investigative mentality
* Very good oral and written communication skills
* Proactive, highly motivated and a self-starter
