About Our School

Our lovely school in West London have a fabulous opportunity for a special educational needs (SEN) Performing Arts teacher catering for children and young people between the age of 7-19 with additional learning and complexed needs. You will be working with students with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), including children with autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). You will be responsible for Performing Arts across all key stages and share responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all students.

Qualities Desired

  • Flexible, have a positive can-do attitude
  • Confidence, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
  • Have qualified teacher status or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a school environment, with SEN, with the ability to understand the complexities and challenges of working in this unique environment
  • Experienced Performing Arts practitioner
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
