Are you looking for a flexible part-time finance role within a friendly and successful SME?

This well-established and growing business is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper / Accounts Administrator to take ownership of their day-to-day financial operations. If you enjoy a hands-on role where you can have a real impact, this could be the perfect fit!

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, tracking transactions, and monitoring accounts.
  • Handling accounts payable & receivable – issuing sales invoices, processing supplier payments, and chasing outstanding payments.
  • Managing credit control and ensuring customers pay on time.
  • Preparing financial statements, including cash flow, profit & loss, and balance sheets for the directors.
  • Ensuring all transactions are entered for quarterly VAT returns and supporting year-end accounts.
  • Overseeing staff expenses and credit card policies.
  • Managing price files and assisting with financial data analysis (option to expand this part of the role).
  • Handling customer and supplier queries and supporting the finance team with ad-hoc tasks.

What We’re Looking For:

? Experience in Bookkeeping & Accounts Administration – ideally within an SME environment.? QuickBooks Online proficiency – essential.? Advanced Excel skills – strong understanding of financial formulas and data analysis.? AAT / ACCA or equivalent qualification – preferred but not essential.? Highly organised & detail-oriented – able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.? Strong communication skills – ability to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Bonus Skills (Desirable but Not Essential):

  • Experience with back-office systems.
  • Interest in price/data analysis (potential to increase hours if desired).
  • Experience preparing management accounts.
