Syntech is seeking a Workshop Cleaner for a CNC facility located a 10-minute drive from Uxbridge, offering a salary of £26,500 per annum.
The role requires working Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 12pm.
Candidates should have experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse, particularly with machine cleaning, and be comfortable handling potentially corrosive materials.
Heavy lifting and manual tasks are part of the job, and experience with forklifts or Robur Pallet Trucks is advantageous.

Workshop Cleaner / 10 minute drive, 40 minute public transport from Uxbridge £26,500 per annumHours: Monday – Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 12pm Syntech are searching for a Workshop Cleaner for our client based 10 minute drive away from Uxbridge. Working within the CNC facility, this role is key to keeping the workshop floors clean, ensuring machines are cleaned properly and removing any rubbish from the machine shop.Workshop Cleaner Duties:• Daily Cleaning of the machine shop with tasks such as sweeping, mopping and maintaining cleanliness of the facility. • Empty swarf bins and dispose of materials safely • Recycle materials in line with company procedures• Clean the exterior and inside of machines as required• Manage coolant and oil spills, ensuring proper clean up• Safely clean and dispose of hazardous materials in line with all procedures Workshop Cleaner Skillset: Please note, we are not looking for domestic or office cleaners. We are looking for candidates with experience in either a manufacturing facility or a warehouse background.• Experience with machine cleaning is highly desirable • Happy to work with potentially corrosive acids and chemicals (PPE provided) • Capable of handling heavy lifting and manual tasks • Forklift or Robur Pallet Truck experience is a plusApplication Process: We aim to respond to all applicants within 5 working days.
