Business Support Executive
Salary: £28k - £30k + 10% company shared bonus
Location: Uxbridge
Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (3 days in office, 2 working from home)

Our client, a leading IT technical provider based locally in Uxbridge, is seeking a Business Support Executive to join their team and assist with the general day-to-day administrative functions required within a vibrant and busy team.

The role is varied and includes general admin support, order processing, client setup, credit checking, and some procurement. Experience with Salesforce is advantageous but not required.

You will be joining a friendly team within fantastic offices based in Uxbridge. If you have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a similar role, read on and apply today!

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Processing customer orders and updating partners/customers with order statuses

 

 

  • Addressing any issues related to processed orders

 

 

  • Conducting credit checks for customers

 

 

  • Setting up direct debits with customers and partners and following up on any cancellations

 

 

  • Managing trial setups and overseeing the full trial process

 

 

  • Procuring hardware from company suppliers

 

 

  • Providing support to the sales team

 

 

  • Operating the Customer Service and Accounts desk to respond to queries on accounts, orders, and existing customers

 

 

  • Assisting with the on-boarding of new partners

 

 

  • Allocating and managing numbers

 

 

  • Assisting with regular audit exercises

 

 

  • Managing the porting and exporting of customer numbers to and from a database

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills

 

 

  • Attention to detail

 

 

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments

 

 

  • Quick learner, able to grasp new concepts swiftly

 

 

  • Team player with a strong work ethic

 

 

  • Intermediate level Excel skills
