Food Technician

Specification Technologist - Food & Drink We are seeking a detail-oriented Specification Technologist to join our clients established company. As a key member of our technical team, you'll ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain accurate product specifications
Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers on technical matters
Review and approve artwork to ensure compliance with food labelling regulations
Support NPD with technical input and documentation
Conduct specification gap analysis and implement improvements
Ensure product compliance with UK/EU food legislation

Requirements:

Food science or related degree
Experience in ambient food manufacturing or distribution
Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, and legislation
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specification management systems
