Specification Technologist -  Food & Drink We are seeking a detail-oriented Specification Technologist to join our clients  established company. As a key member of our technical team, you'll ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate product specifications
  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers on technical matters
  • Review and approve artwork to ensure compliance with food labelling regulations
  • Support NPD with technical input and documentation
  • Conduct specification gap analysis and implement improvements
  • Ensure product compliance with UK/EU food legislation
Requirements:
  • Food science or related degree
  • Experience in ambient food manufacturing or distribution
  • Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, and legislation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specification management systems
