Join a fast-growing engineering team! Were currently a small team of seven dedicated professionals, and were looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to step into an essential role as we expand.
About the Role
Due to a team members departure, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller to join our high-performing team. Youll work closely with others to support ongoing projects, operating and programming 3-axis mills with rotary tables and trunnion add-ons. This is a role for a proactive self-starter who can handle programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set, and operate CNC mills with a high degree of autonomy
- Utilise Fanuc control systems with 3-axis mills
- Use Fusion or OneCNC software for programming and design
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy while producing high-quality components
- Ensure all setups and processes meet strict safety and quality standards
- Supervise and organize machining workflow, helping to streamline processes as needed
About You
- Experience: Proven experience working with Fanuc controls on 3-axis mills with rotary table and trunnion add-ons
- Software Proficiency: Skilled in CADCAM software, ideally Fusion or OneCNC but will consider other software experience.
- Organized & Independent: Able to work independently, efficiently, and with minimal oversight
- Communication: High proficiency in English is preferred
- Supervisory Skills: Experience in leading or organizing teams is an advantage
Hours & Compensation:
- Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00 - 17:15
- Salary: £35K - £39K per annum, plus overtime at time and a quarter when required
