Our client is seeking a Project Management Officer to join their team. This role is to support Project Managers and Work Package Managers in maintaining and governing project schedules and contribute to the in-house project management system (PMS).This is a vital position to ensure the accuracy and consistency of project plans, enabling the business to make informed decisions impacting resource allocation and revenue recognition.Day to Day of the role:
  • Support Project Managers with project planning activities.
  • Liaise with Work Package Managers to track project tasks, scheduling, and project performance.
  • Engage in process improvement activities and training users on PMS tasks.
  • Develop training materials and assist with new requirements and system upgrades.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project plans are accurate and consistent.
  • Represent the business as an expert voice, learning from and supporting customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in project planning, project management, and/or manufacturing.
  • Eagerness to learn project planning skills and project management systems.
  • Knowledge of systems such as SAP, Primavera, and Planisware is advantageous, though full training on PMS will be provided.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to the highest standards and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
