We are supporting our automotive HGV client in recruitinga dedicated Contract Manager to oversee vehicle repair and servicing operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and upholding health and safety standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Contract Requirements:

  • Conduct analysis on all contract activities.

  • Ensure vehicle repairs and servicing meet VOSA standards.

  • Oversee timely completion of Vehicle Services and MOTs to a high standard.

  • Ensure job card write-ups are clear and professional.

  • Complete and submit monthly reports accurately and on time.

  • Manage Work in Progress (WIP) efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with Department of Transport specifications where required.

  • Oversee timely and efficient completion of additional work post-customer authorization.

  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately completed for every task undertaken.

  • Enter appropriate data into computer systems.

Job Management:

  • Work across customer and company premises as required.

  • Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Ensure vehicle maintenance schedules are followed rigorously.

  • Take ownership of the contract and manage daily operations efficiently.

  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping practices.

  • Obtain authorizations for chargeable work, ensuring adherence to company quotes and contractual agreements.

  • Undertake Product and Health & Safety training to enhance skill sets.

  • Effectively manage and supervise staff, including overseeing holiday and absence cover.

Monday - Friday : 40hrs per week
