We are seeking an experienced Early Years Tutor/Assessor to join a further education college in West London. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has both teaching and assessing qualifications. The position is to start as soon as possible, offering a competitive hourly rate for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to students in the field of early years education.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Facilitate learning through a variety of methods, catering to individual learning styles.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the college.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by college regulations.
- Participate in departmental and college meetings, parent meetings, and contribute to committee work.
- Proven experience as an Early Years Tutor/Assessor.
- Relevant teaching and assessing qualifications.
- Strong understanding of early years education and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
