SEND Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic SEND Secondary school in Uxbridge who are looking for someone to join their friendly and supportive team for the start of the new academic year. You will be required to work with children 1:1 and in small groups to support all aspects of their development alongside other members of staff. To be considered for this role, you must have SEND experience and be comfortable doing personal care given the needs of the children.

Key skills the ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with young people or SEND in any capacity
  • Be comfortable working with challenging behaviour
  • Be open to working in different classrooms throughout the course of the school day
  • You must be comfortable doing personal care
  • Able to commute to Hillingdon
  • You need to have an existing Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to process one
